How to create a favicon?
Follow this steps and create a favicon for your website! For those of you who don’t know what I am talking about, favicon is short for “Favourites-Icon” and is sometimes referred to as a “Web icon”. Favicons are a great way of adding a little personality or identity for your website! I created three steps so u can be on your way! 1. Choose an image
- logo, small image, keep it shaped like like a cube (e.g. 100 x 100 px) 2. Use an online generator
- such as http://www.genfavicon.com/ or Chami where you can upload an image from your PC. Once generated you can download it 3. Add the following html code to your website (into the head part, into to tag: link. (link href="/favicon.ico" rel="icon"/) Happy generating! |
